Tattoo FAQ

✴A silent appointment is just what it sounds like- we don’t talk during the duration of your tattoo. The tattoo process can be scary and feeling like you have to make conversation can be overstimulating.
✴While the majority of the appointment is silent, before the tattoo I will NEED to talk with you about paper work, the design, the stencil placement, and will check in a few times during the appointment to ensure comfort, consent, and to see if you might need any breaks.
✴Just as consent is ever changing, your preference for a silent appointment isn’t a definite decision. You can decide same day, half way through your appointment, or before your appointment on the booking form.
✴I have struggled with not knowing what my tattoo artist might expect from me during my appointment, so just know I have NO expectations for social engagement. Feel free to bring headphones and small fidget toys.

✴All deposits are non-refundable.
✴48 hours are needed to reschedule otherwise deposit is forfeit.
✴Multiple reschedules, cancelling, or one no-call no-show forfeits deposit
✴15 minutes past our appointment time with out communication counts as a no call no show (like if you got stuck in traffic but didn’t let me know)
✴I am understanding as long as you communicate with me!
-
✴moisturize, hydrate and lightly exfoliate! The more you ensure you’re drinking water, moisturizing & exfoliating the spot you are getting tattooed (or all of your skin if you’re unsure of the placement) the easier the tattoo process and healing will be.
Tattooing can be stressful, so take care of yourself and your skin for an easier appointment and healing process.

✴wear something comfortable that allows access to the area being tattooed.
✴the day before your session, please refrain from having any alcohol or illicit drugs, as this weakens the immune system and can make the tattooing process/healing rough.

When my books are open there will be a button that says “BOOK NOW” under the booking tab of my website. If the button isn’t on the page, my books are closed and I will not respond to emails or DMs regarding booking appointments. I may have cancelations or open up random days though, and you will be able to see and book these appointments via Instagram.

✴Your deposit ensures you have an appointment. If you haven’t paid a deposit, your appointment isn’t on my books.
✴It holds both you and I accountable to prevent any same day cancellations or no shows, and when you receive your tattoo the cost of your deposit will count towards the final cost of your tattoo.
✴Example: Your tattoo costs $200 but you paid a $50 deposit so the final cost of your tattoo that day will be $150
✴If you decide to rebook with me for another tattoo the day of your appointment, you will have the option to “roll over” your deposit to the next appointment

✴Generally speaking, I’d recommend to stay away from numbing cream if your tattoo session is estimated to take longer that 2 hours. This is because the cream will wear off and your body won’t have been able to build the necessary endorphins to tolerate the pain. Once the cream wears off, it will hurt even more than if you hadn’t applied it, which totally sucks.
✴If your tattoo is estimated to take less than 2 hours, please check in with me first as some creams have ingredients that alter the texture of your skin and cannot be tattooed over. Lidocaine based creams are the only ones I recommend, but please ask for my consent before application.
✴Additionally, I’m always happy to use Bactine on broken skin (at least once the line work is finished) and that can take the edge off for a little while.

While I understand the anticipation, I’ll only show you the design when you arrive at your appointment date. This is for a few reasons-number one, I have a busy schedule and typically only have time to draw your design the day before or day of. Additionally, if small changes need to be made it’s way easier to just talk about that in person than going back and forth via email about every little detail. I always ask my clients to be comfortable with a fair amount of creative freedom, so before you book with me, make sure you really like my work!
-
I draw those designs as I intent to tattoo them, so no changes will be made to flash pieces. If you want a similar custom piece, I’m usually super open to that! Typically I’d say that if you like a flash design but want to make changes to it, do not claim that flash piece because I only tattoo my flash once and other people might want that design as is. Just reach out to see if we can do something similar and I'll most likely be down!
-
I request that you come alone to your appointment. I work out of a smaller space, and the less people in the space the easier it is for me to concentrate. If you’re a super anxious person, check in with me, but your guest will not be allowed to come hang out with us in my station, they’re going to need to hang out in the lobby and they might get pretty bored. I want to make sure all of my guests are as comfortable and feel as safe as possible and I promise I am committed to providing excellent service at your appointment!
Shop FAQ
-
No, stamped mail does not have tracking and once I ship the order, the shipping and handling is out of my control and I am not responsible for any damage or loss of a package. This is why I recommend my tracked shipping. While it is more expensive you can see where your package is and when it might arrive.
-
I will make, package and ship your order within 7 days of receiving your order. After the package is shipped, it takes anywhere from 7-14 days for mail within the United States and 14-21 days for international shipments. This is a rough estimate that can vary per your local mail, world events (like covid), and holidays.
-
Yes I do! Unfortunately Squarespace doesn’t offer tracked shipping for international shipments, so I only offer stamped mail for international orders. This means you won’t be able to see when your order will arrive and I am not responsible for the package once I send it out.
-
At this moment I will update my shop as I see fit, and once I am tattooing I may limit my shop inventory to a smaller number of items, just to ensure you I can keep items in stock, and ship them in a timely manner.

Prints: What is 65 lb. card stock? 65 lb. card stock is the material I use to make my prints. In order to ensure my print quality and so I am able to make more prints available on my store, I print my goods myself. 65 lb. card stock is a thicker, matte paper. Some have expected my prints to be thicker, but I find this paper thickness easy to print and frame.
Stickers: I purchase my stickers from StickerApp, ALL of my stickers are weather/waterproof.
